It seems the long hot summer is over, hope you all managed to stay cool and keep the veg patch watered?

But now it’s time to look forward to what’s happening in Kirksanton Village Hall through autumn:

Film Nights start again on September 26^th [it’s always the last Saturday of the month] with ‘The Straight Road’, a David Lynch film . October and November films are booked already, so keep these Saturdays free: October 31^st, November 25^th.

On 5^th October our regular ‘Soup Extra’ begins – bring your friends and join us for hearty soups and delicious puddings in good company on the first Monday of each month, October to March! 12.00 – 1.30pm

On October 17^th we will be hosting, jointly with Whicham Parish Council, a showing of the film fronted by Chris Packham, ‘The People’s Emergency Briefing’, a film looking at climate resilience, followed by a time for discussion. All welcome. Free entry.

Also, on November 7^th we have a fantastic music event, an evening with the Seamus Og Trio which includes a workshop – bring your instruments and join the fun! Tickets £12.00, but half-price for under 18s!

Our Christmas event will be a concert by Harps North West on December 7^th to start the festive season with beautiful music.  [NB This is an afternoon performance]

All this as well as the regular groups who meet at KVH makes it a busy place. We look forward to seeing you at one [or all] our events!
